On the morning of Aug. 6, Ajman China Mall held 2019 fire and riot police-civilian joint drill successfully together with Ajman Free Zone, Ajman Police Headquarters, and Ajman Fire Department, which is the biggest joint exercise since the building of the park, and also a large-scale interagency highly-simulated combat exercise of the highest standard in the Ajman Emirate in recent years.
 

Leaders and guests, such as consuls Hu Xiquan and Ma Shuai of Chinese Consulate General in Dubai, assistant director Musabiha of Ajman Free Zone Investment Bureau, Commander-in-chief Abdullah of Ajman Police Headquarters and director general Abdullah of Ajman Fire Department attended the drill. They took command and paid close attention to every process of the drill.

To better test police’s ability of going into action quickly and on-site handling, the drill was conducted during business hours. Consumers and the staff in the park all got involved. Dozens of police cars and fire engines called out quickly; almost one hundred regimental police quickly assembled; more than five hundred masses played themselves. A real, tense, lively fire and riot police-civilian joint drill began.
 

Over 30 “rioters” played by police screamed and clamored outside the park. Park managers stepped forward to dissuade and negotiate. “Rioters” began to “burn cars” and rushed into the park, “beating, smashing, looting and burning”, causing further escalation. It was in a state of emergency.
 

Customer service staff of front desk reported the situation to superiors immediately and launched the contingency plan, alerting the Police Station, Fire Department, Ajman Free Zone and Chinese Consulate General in Dubai as soon as possible, then ringing the alarm bells in the park and broadcasting in Chinese, English and Arabic. All staff of the company move quickly according to anti-terrorism and riot contingency plan, evacuating customers and practitioners to safety place, making emergency aid to the wounded. Security guards kept order at the scene under the guidance of the police. Fire-fighting team screened the park for fire source, waiting for the firefighters.

After the exercise, the general manager Luo Feng of Ajman China Mall expressed his gratitude to relevant departments participating in the exercise.
